I don't see the code on your forum yet, but once it's there let us know and then we can help troubleshoot anything that may have taken a hard left.

The code isn't yet there.  I'm trying to determine what file is being called by PHP to load the scripts.  It would appear to be overall_footer.html, however no modification that I make in that file is reflected in index.php.  And I can't see anywhere else the footer resides.

There may be a process which is slow to update, though I'm not certain if that is PHP behavior.

For right now, I'm going to load the script language into overall_footer.html and take a short break to see if there is a change in the page.
