Lots more neighbors have lights and yard toys up this year. I think its an effort to be as cheerful as possible with the weirdness of the social restrictions still looming over everyone.
Kind of nice to walk the neighborhood and enjoy them. Yay Christmas!

It's been about five years but this year we put up a 14 foot tree and lights on the outside. Place is really festive. Too bad there aren't any presents under the tree though 
It was mandated we decorate by my wife, I wasn't too interested until the tree was standing and had lights. Then I went a little crazy on the outside.
No complaints by the FAA for distracting aircraft flying overhead so I guess I didn't do too bad
