I really hoped the world would take a slow approach to returning to "normal" activities, but it seems everyone is in quarantine craziness and just have to get out.

Not me, I'm gonna sit right here and watch my tomatoes grow on my recently planted garden

Why not roll over and die? If countries economies stop to long they'll go bankrupt. We'll no doubt get both a vaccine and a cure before to lomg, in the mean time we may as well do what we can..

The U.S. has put ourselves in a hole financially that will be hard to ever recover from.

I think this could all be turned around if a therapeutic appears that can stop the death spiral the virus causes. Then no one will need to quarantine for protection.

Its something that could happen very quickly. There are noises from Israel today that something like that could be available soon. Much better than waiting for a vaccine that many people are going to refuse anyway.

Most countries are in a fibancial hole that'll take time to get out of, I guess we just have to work a bit harder amd longer to get out of it.. Our government spent some $4b just on wages for closed businesses staff, that plus all the extra borrowed for welfare, health, education etc will have to go back to either the IMF or world bank some time, so we do a little overtime for a while..

IMHO the problem in the US is that the governments done to little to late, or seems to have, that could see you folk working harder for longer to pay for it..

You'd think seeing Boris has had Covid and there's been over 20.000 deaths there, hed get a tighter reign on things, not relax things..

Lockdown will be eased from Monday. A five point plan with different aspects being lifted each month. People still need to be sensible..although I doubt that. So many idiots never kept to the rules in the first place. 

Many people have been fined for flouting the rules and some have been sent to prison for,(this is revolting) spitting at police officers...   And also coughing in their faces saying they have the virus. People like them would have kept us locked up for longer.

We've had no new cases of Covid for 3 days in a row now, a lot of the people who were using masks stopped after finding out they lasted a very limited time, the bit of mask in front of the mouth gets damp quickly, then becomes a breeding ground for everything, including the Covid viruses so if you use them while getting the groceries you'd have to be finished shopping in about 30 minutes and out of the shop.. I would've got masks seeing I'm a high risk, I found that out and changed my mind..
