Read the link and it explains it. I blog via my hosting panel. The blog posts appear at the bottom of my forum via the plug in Skyon made.
Skyon can correct me if I’m wrong, but you need a hosting account like I have. From there you can add a wordpress blog. You can then have a link to your blog the same as I have. To have the latest blog posts appear as again I have, you need the plug in installed.
Skyon will explain it better than me I’m sure.

WordPress is the number one, go to, blogging software on the internet. It's even more impressive that you can take this software and create a full fledged website, even if you don't know how to code.
If you can type an email, you can make a page or post on WordPress. Install a theme and after a few tweaks, you have a website!
Example of a WordPress "website" is https://rubiconhomeinspection.com/ or simply visit my website at https://tierrahosting.com . . . both are built on WordPress.
Examples of WordPress blogs include https://chrislema.com/blog/ and https://www.kevinmuldoon.com/
