If your advertisement is receiving views and people (other than you) are clicking on your ads, then the final item to obtaining new members is solely on the viewer and your site.

Maybe they are interested but once they get there they simply don't feel compelled to join due to aesthetics, content, activity or who knows why else.

Take a step back and look at your site with the eyes of a stranger. Maybe ask others (not current members) to visit your site and have them give you their honest opinion of it.

Once you get an idea of how others find your site then maybe you can make improvements (if any needed) to attract these site viewers to join!

I've had a few friends here look and give their opinions, and got a list of things to do in my Admin section for if Jane's ever back.. I can't see to change stuff in the ACP, so I'm waiting and hoping Jane will eventually get back online seeing she's admin on my site.. If I thought you had time I'd get you over rather than wait for her, she's not been around for ages..
