Happy Independence Day, America!

4th of July weekend is always a fun time for celebrating, neighborhood barbeques, and family get-togethers.
Here's to freedom and making some good and happy memories with friends and family.
Menu here is weinies and beanies, maybe some potato salad and watermelon---and some time by the firepit. And the flag will be proudly flying. *salutes founding fathers and all our brave service heros*

Just a small cook out and s'mores by the fire pit in the evening.
We are fortunate to be in view of local fireworks displays nearby, so we'll watch those from our third floor after dark.
And, of course, we'll be flying the stars & stripes.

If a holiday falls on a weekend, then the nearest weekday is used as the day off work for businesses that would usually close for the holiday.
