Morning, Lovely sunny day again.
Well the press conference was...interesting. He explained his situation, and answered some harsh questions from the press who were after blood. Did he resign? no. Did he apologise for anything? no. Did he offer to resign? no.
This will rumble on for a good while yet, and prime ministers questions on Thursday should be a rowdy affair to say the least. Kier Starmer wont let this drop thats for sure. Tempers will flare. Such is politics,

Got to wonder why Boris won't sack him eh..

He’s Boris’s right hand man. He values his advice and opinions. He doesn't want to sack him. Will he be forced too? Time will tell...

I guess his party could say sack him or we replace you Boris, not sacking him could cost Boris at the next election if he doesn't.. Granted he may be a good advisor, but that doesn't give him the right to be a rule breaker when he's supposed to be setting an example..

Well, I'm thinking about starting a new site, the current one seems to have gone down like a lead balloon, as a resu;t mo new members of late.. Has anyne got ideas of what content will go down well? I don't want count to 100 games amd such rather spmthing that will get folk joining the site and more importantly, participating in the site on a regular basis, what I have aint doing it for anyone, so no pont flogging a dead horse.. :(

The question is how do you promote it locally? You have such a specific genre, only specific people will participate at such specificity.
What are you doing to get locals to your site?
Maybe you should be considering what your forum offers members to keep them actively participating. Software is only one small speck in building a forum.

Morning.
Right..I know you dislike counting games and daily questions etc as a rule because you find it mind numbingly boring. But...you need to give your members what THEY want and like..and lots of users like those kind of things. Not all sites have them..Spice doesnt, she hates those kind of things.. but she has lots of other different things that users like...unique to her...and it works.
Have a general chat area of course, but have other sections like posting pictures..could be nature ,an old building, stuff like that.
Games...word games, number games, smiley games...again users seem to like them so give them what they like.
So in other words..a general online community instead of a specific genre..ie NZ. No offence but that section is practically empty anyway. The news section has the highest post count.
On my forum I have lots of what I call..’hidden gems’ with unusual content that people seem to like. Unusual facts..pictures..that kind of thing.
Maybe just have ONE forum devoted to NZ,rather than a whole category with half empty forums and start up different topics...gangs,prisons,customs etc.

None of my members are active which doesn't help, one joined about 2 months ago and still waiting to see him/her online and posting, why join a site if you aren't going to post?
I have a game section, if members were posting they could start whatever games they like, within reason of course.. Been thinking of trimming the NZ section a bit, the prisons was one I was thinking of dropping, would kind of like to keep the hobbit one, maybe just make it smaller.. Time to do some thinking.. :(

I meant to say that I was thinking of a name change too, new site, new name seeing it'll possibly also be with someone else like possibly SMF.., unless there's a better, easier site to use..
