Another hot one today and tomorrow..although we could get some thunderstorms in the afternoon for a while. A bit of rain will be good for the garden.

Must get the laptop out and look at themes and plugins today. Got my eye on a few. Dont panic Skyon..not too many.,

Download onto your pc and upload from the acp. With me it has to go into my hosting panel then I can upload it via the acp,.same with smileys and plugins.

Yeap, on the createmynn support site and the other site too..

I've looked in the ACP where the themes get added, knowing my luck I'd make a dogs dinner of things if I add a theme, methinks a tesat site may be in order, if I stuff that up it doesn't matter.. Thinking of smileys, it looks like we'll get a thing where we can upload our own smileys sometime, I've lost a lot of my smileys because of tinypic closing, didn't know they were closin until midnight the day it happened, as a result 15 years of collecting emotes are out the widow, have got some back, but need to find some animated smileys like the rofl and bofl ones..

Morning. Last of the hot days for a while. I don't mind it sunny but it’s been way too hot for me this week.

New track and trace app is supposed to be up and running in about ten days,which means lockdown restrictions MAY be lifted..good. Then I can finally see mum and dad my brother,

Yeah make a test site..then upload a theme to your pc. You want the xml file in your acp then upload it to the site.

Most of the smileys were found online, the rofl and bofl ones came from a friend who's now passed so nor sure if they can be replaced yet, I've looked on a lot of sites already with no luck, I should've stored them on one of my portable hard drives as well, last time I trust sites like tinypic etc to store things 15 years of collecting out the window..

Really busy these days helping out friends, before Covid 19 most of their work was face to face business, now most of it's online, so I'm working from home arranging sales and getting stuff couriered out to people, been a learning curve trying to get used to patching into someones servers and getting the work done, it's not leaving me a lot of free time to set up test sites and learnng how to do new tricks on my site.. I have remembered one reason gave up being a head chef in big hotels, to much stress, if I had the choices again I'd still do that job as I like cooking..

As a thought...maybe SMF would be easier for you to work with? You can literally install a theme at the click of a mouse..no downloading needed.  Lots of other different things you can do...install an arcade...really easy.

Can't log in to try that site out or I'd have a quick look round, I'm all for easy and no stress with things these days too, the joys of getting older means we dont handle stress as well as we did while young eh. The downside to changing sites is shifting all the content over, something I haven't got time for at present..

Our app started last week for the Covid 19, last I heard some 270,000 people had downloaded the app onto their phones, apparently it's still needs a few things added to it, but at least folk can get into it and put in where they've been and who they've been in contact with along with times and dates.. We've gonefor about a week without any new cases of Covid now, we had 1,504 cases and 97% recovered with 21 deaths over the whole country, so IMHO we've done okay.. I think out government did the right thing in going in hard and early, there are a few things I think thet could've done better on though, putting a limit of 10 people at funeraks is one thing that's gone down like a lead balloon..

Morning. A lot cooler today which is nice. Been too hot for my liking.

The government is considering issuing immunity cards for people who have had covid19 so they can come out of lockdown completely. Mind you,over the weekend beaches were packed solid anyway.  


Right..you're registered. Take a look and see what you think. IF you decide to move..why not start with fresh content instead of moving stuff over? Just a thought. Save a lot of hassle..fresh site ,fresh content..

I wondered about the email last night, I didn't recognise the sender so didnt open it of course, now I know it's safe.. Will try taking a look today or tomorrow and see what I think.. As for content, hmmm, there's to many sites out there with the same stuff now, not sure I want to be another with count to 100 games and such for content, maybe it's time to get the thinking cap out for my old overworked brain.. Anyone got turbo powered coffee? :S
