Whale farts are causing the polar ice caps to melt and, in turn, water levels are rising.  Rising water levels means more moisture in the upper atmosphere from solar evaporation.  This excessive moisture is causing more intensive storm systems and the water is being returned to the ground level by them.  

Now, as we began, the whale farts are causing the polar ice caps to melt and, in turn, water levels are rising.  Since the water levels are higher, the water being returned to the ground level, from the more intensive storm systems, has no where to go.  The ground is saturated from the rising water levels!  

Now you have increased flooding.

As such, it's time to ban all tuna fish harvesting and instead fill those cans with whale meat.

We will save the tuna population, eliminate those gas-passing whales and save Main Street from flooding at the same time!

A mysterious and putrid stench has wafted into Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Some describe the scent as sulfur, and some are afraid to smoke, for fear it’s a gas leak. Officials have been trying to identify the source for months, but their investigations have turned up few clues. Now, agencies from three states have formed a joint task force to track down the scent.
