upgraded aging modem recently

i invested in a sleek, more powerful modem router combo... netgear night hawk c7000v2 model...
some descriptions:

the beamforming is new to me...apparently this allows me to make calls on cell in my home without going outside to make a call which plagued me for a year. it spreads out the wifi signals, eliminating the deadzones -i think lol?
