Strange, I decided to see how long it took for the main index page to load just now, I managed to count 10 seconds, I just dis a speed test and got: Ping 11 Download 104.84 Upload 26.15, at those speeds I'd have thought it'd load a lot faster, have you got a lot of coding out in the back room? :S

Well, the main index does have a bit of information being dug up and displayed. All of the statistics at the bottom are making several database queries to retrieve the information and then display it. There are a few scripts that take a second to fully load but once they do, they should be cached in your browser.

Ten seconds seems like a rather long time though. I'm seeing an average of page load of 2.6 seconds.

I must admit this morning was a little slower than usual, it's usually 5 or 6 seconds to load the page, once in a while it's 7 seconds.. Maybe with us kiwis being further away things have further to travel and may get held up by other international net traffic?

As an aside, I finally posted my first blurb, I'm not sure if there's a character limit or not so I kept it brief.. I wonder how many others have posted blurbs on their pages?
