Just got a call from an old colleague who now lives in Perth. We're going to do a zoom teaching conference together in September that has participants signed up from all over the globe. Should be fun to connect with people around the world again.

We have always had an indoor cat, but for the last few years have been without. I'm thinking of getting some kittens. Remind me why it is either a good or bad idea.

Good . . . if they are treated as babies their entire lives and they remain that way
Bad . . . litter boxes, litter everywhere, coughed up fur balls, scratching up stuff, hair/dander everywhere
I have three cats in my house and all of them have amazing personalities, all different, yet they are all babies. It's worth the "bad", thanks to the "good".
I prefer the Rottewiler and the American Stratfordshire Terrier

I had almost forgotten about the hair everywhere. I could have knitted sweaters! haha.
