I think I've found the problem spot, if so it's now fixed on the other site too, after one day of over 750 guests there I may now get some members.. I was getting a little.. peeved no one had signed up on either site.. I'd like to know what the problem was, then I'll know for sure if I've fixed iy or not..

ACP > Configuration > Custom Profile Fields . . . edit the custom field . . .

Scroll down and look for "Viewable by" and "Editable by". Select all, except of course banned group.

Thanks, you're activated as of 20 minutes ago, I have to try and sort the shoutbox, it may not work for you at present, hopefully once the usergroups are sorted out I can set the last of the shoutbox settings.. I wish I was more tech minded like Skyon is, it'd make life a lot easier..
