Nope. I think voice assistants to be creepy. I have Cortana turned off on Windows.

It does seem a bit kind of creepy, kinda like big daddy's watching.. Haven't tried Cortana yet, mind you that's only because I'm happy enough with firefox for now..

Cortana is a Windows entity. Type her name in the bottom search bar to start the set up process.
It doesn't matter what browser you use. If your computer operates with Windows, then you can use Cortana.

If it can be turned off or not used this old man may try it..

Yes, you can turn her off if the nagging gets to you.

Ten days on from the mosques massacre here in NZ and the after affects are still being felt, I won't call the nutter an animal because it'd give animals a bad name, besides they only kill to survive and enough to survive on.. 50 people dead and 48 injured, one of the injured was a 4 year old girl who's still in a coma in intensive care.. The police were fast though, within 20 minutes of the emergency call going in they had the ******** arrested, Christchurch and the immeadiate suburbs cover a really big area too..
It's sad to think a little country of barely 5 million people in the back blocks of nowhere can be affected by these.. nutters, if NZ has gone to war we've only ever given medical aid with our military and not troops on the fronts with our allies.. It seems this.. nutter was from Australia and they say he, it was radicalised here, I'm not sure how yet, although social media is getting a bit of blame at present, Facebook in particular as the massacre was livestreamed to there and viewed some 4000 times before it was removed.. I hate to think how many copies of the video are out there, the Turkish President was one using the video in his election campaign..
A lot of governments have responded and sent positive messages to our government, I haven't seen anything official from Aussie or the Trump admin yet, at least Aussie had a giant silver fern on the Sydney opera house supporting us.. 15 March was a real sad day here, the surprising thing is, our gun laws were already fairly tough, I hope that they're now toughened even more and those with high powered guns undergo regular random checks by police and have regular psych testing too.. Military grade weapons are now outlawed here, so only military personel get to use them in the unlikely event of war, IMHO there's no reason for the public to need high powered military weapons, they aren't needed for hunting things like deer or pigs IMO.. A sad day indeed when things like this massacre happen..

I see absolutely no reason why those assault rifles are available anywhere really.

I agree, I wonder if even the military need some of them, I saw one online in the news recently that was high powered and had bullets capable of piercing tanks, yet some private owner had the weapon, imagine what that'd do if some nutter like the one in our massacre got his hands on it, that person could do a lot of damage in a very short time and likely kill a lot of innocent people..
