We will be using the awesome Planet Nexus NexAds! I hear their users gain amazing exposure by implementing ads.
Sounds very promising!
Actually, that's the front office managements job (Helena). I work in the sweat shop in back so I have no clue what her plans are.

Basically NexAds is self promoting. The more it is used, the more it will be noised about. Those of you that use Twitter can help us by retweeting, and by installing the various rotating ad options we are offering. Use the hashtag #nexads when you update your Twitter feed with your site information.
I'm currently putting together some documentation on that very thing to give some strategies that will both help subscriber sites and build web consciousness about the system.

Are you thinking about adding Facebook along with Twitter, or don't you think Facebooks a good idea after all their privacy problems? Cambridge Analytica being one of the many privacy breaches..

Facebook could be an option. We can look into it.

This is an example of one of our subscribers using one of the rotating NexAds prominently on their site:
http://betheasbyte.forumotion.com/
It gives sites an additional visibility boost beyond the bar. And the more people that use them, the more they will benefit your site in addition to everyone in the system. Because your ads will be appearing in other installations as well.

It's better like that in that it's far easier to see than the old Nexus Bar which for folk like me was hard to read because of the smaller font size in the old system.. I assume that adds change at random now we have the new system running..

Yes, as we get more users, the footer bar will show random sites links.
The "bigger" ads that can be put anywhere else will also show a random site on each refresh or load of the page they are displayed on.

I'd put the rotating ad on my site, but I think I'd have to purchase premium first.

I don't think jCink prohibits this kind of ad. ZetaBoards allowed you to put ads on your board, just not adsense style ads. Jcink likely has similar guidelines. There's probably something about it you can find with a search on their support board or published rules.

I'll send in a support ticket to ask John about it.
