How's everyone's sanity these days with lockdowns still in force?

Not much to report.
Baking sourdough bread, cooking from the quarantine stash. Todays cook will be chili and cornbread. Will probably put together another grocery delivery order next week sometime. My last one only had one item missing and my shopper was able to find my alternate choice, so stores are doing well at keeping stocked.
People walking by our house are now wearing masks. Everything seems enshrouded in a dystopian aura. I think its going to be difficult to put that part behind us whenever that is possible.

Maybe we should just keep up the social distancing, wearing of masks and gloves and improved hygene practices once all this is done and over with . . . hmmmmm.

That seems to be part of the plan that is emerging.

Morning.
This lockdown could go for another three weeks... Wonderful. Oh well, at least the weather is nice which means I can sit in the garden.

Social distancing includes bugs in the yard!
Keep the critters away

My kitten keeps catching critters and eating them..
Looking around a few forums....Strifefox’s forum...Dracadia...not had any posts since last year. Such a shame. She put so much work into it. It’s very unique.
Hogwartsnz..Nicholas...is doing VERY well indeed. Over a million posts!
It’s a xenforo forum. Tried a demo once...didn't like it. Each to their own though.

Our lockdowns 3 weeks today, so far just under 1,400 confirmed cases here and some 650 recovered with 9 deaths, sadly at least 4 of those deaths were from a nursing home in Christchurch, seems most of the staff are infected, all the elderly folk tested positive and were quarantined in hospital, they haven't found how the Covid 19 got into the resthome as yet, wether it was a staff member or visitor..
Our governments looking at possibly dropping to level 3 on 22 April and kids possibly back to school on 29 April, IMO 22 April is to soon to drop a level even if many of the level 4 things are still in place, methinks they;re thinking of the economy which relies heavily on tourism and trade to survive, they've stumped up with millions to pay workers wages on businesses that were non essential so they're likely keen to stop paying workers wages and borrowing to do it, I feel they should wait another week or so before dropping a level, we only had 19 confirmed and possible cases yesterday, IMO they should wait a week after no new cases before going to level 3..
It's really spooky here at present, normally there's constant traffic on my street, these last 3 weeks has seen possibly 12 cars all day, the flights in and out of town which pass over me have stopped since the day after the lockdown started, as a result it's like living in a ghost town it's so quiet..

Morning.
There is talk of the lockdown possibly being lifted in 10 days..all speculation at the moment, We’ll know for sure at the government daily broadcast later this evening.
There has to be some idea, however rough, of when things can at least start to get back to some kind of normaility.
