Actually, just so everyone knows, MyBB mass email is very simple to use. The reason Helena has had an issue is that there was a missing bit of code in the forum's footer that MyBB uses to run automated tasks . . . like scheduled mass emails.

I just put the bit of code back into the footer template and the mass email has been sent. Mass emails are sent in bunches every 15 minutes in MyBB.
Wow. Thanks. I thought I was just massively messing up the switches or something. Good to know it was a coding problem.

I've actually noticed (and fixed) quite a few things on this bootstrap mobile-responsive theme that were not included in the coding. (There was no theme changer, for instance, which we were needing at the time.) I looks like this was another bit that was missing.

I think you are better off with jCink, as it is more familiar (read--more like ZB),  free, and there is a good support available for it.

You are right about the mass email. It is way more complicated on MyBB.

You can try the free hosted version of MyBB here:

Not sure how I missed getting your mass email the other day though, still nothing received or in my spam folder..

Jcink is kind of similar to zeta, except when it comes to sending mass emails, I've tried a number of times to send something, but it won't work for me..
