Mice to drop to a not so balmy 36 degrees yesterday, hopefully that means it's cooling down over in Aussie too, a lot of our weather comes from over there so if they get it hot us kiwis get it hot too.. We copped a load of flash flooding in Southland yesterday, a pity the Aussies didn't get it, it would've helped a little with all their bushfires..
Morning.

Was a foggy morning, bright and sunny now though.

Another new member this morning!
It almost feels cold today with a forecast high of a mere 32 degrees, I could get used to mild weather, unfortunately I doubt w've seen the last of temps in the mid 40's..
We dodged a snowstorm bullet. We were supposed to get 5 inches yesterday, but nothing fell. Loving the sunshine, even though its still cold.

Baked another carrot cake today with cream cheese walnut frosting. Got rave reviews from the eaters. :)

Is there any carrot cake left for us, huh, huh?
One piece left--you'll have to split it. ^_^

^scoffs the carrot cake before anyone else gets here*
Morning.

No frost today. Storm Ciara is heading our way. Torrential rain and gales for the weekend. Wonderful. No snow though..
Seems Aussie is getting storms in too, they meed the rain, but not gallons of it a minute in one spot or they'll get massive slips where ever the fires have been.. If they were due to get reasonably heavy rain it'd be a good thing, especially now the heats subsided a bit..
