You're right Helena, it's been a good while since the last spammer/s, hopeflly it's going to be even longer before the next, if they get past SA's anti spam stuff..

Well, I have praise for the spammer. He had to actually manually register, click a link in his email, and pass the anti-bot enforcement to be able to post.

Diligent, if nothing else

He/she must've been dilligent to get past all your coding, at least we lnow you've stopped a good load of spammers..

You do have admin validation here don't you? Like we do at FC? Curse spammers.

We have google recaptcha implemented, a hidden field to catch bots and another little sneaky thing in place. Those that register have to click a link in an email to complete membership.

As such, it really takes a person to sign up.

With Skyon's security in place it seems this site doesn't need admin clearance to let in members, a lot of the free sites need admin validation because of the lack of security, that and admins not having good IP checkers that show if someones been reported for spamming..

It's 8.45 a.m. sunday here, James 13 hours behind NZ and from memory our Helena is about 18 or 19 hours behind us, nt sure how far behind Texas is, but it may be similar to Helena's time zone..
